An "Open House" is being held in Duluth to inform people why United States Steel's Minntac operation in Mt. Iron should be allowed to dischrge billions of gallons of contaminated water into the St. Louis river system which empties into Lake Superior.
At the present time United States Steel's Minntac operation is illegally dumping billions of gallons of contaminated water into the Dark River watershed which flows into Lake of the Woods and into the Hudsons Bay.
People in Duluth an Superior should turn out at this "Open House" to insist that this dumping not take place and the present illegal dumping is halted.
I would like to see the head of United States Steel make his case to dump this contaminated water on the Great Lakes Town Hall Forum... those responsible for this web site would be doing a great service by extending the invitation to United States Steel prior to the "Open House."
